Collage workshop

YUCA Arts, and Boricua College joined forces to present an amazing, 8 week collage-making workshop, and present this community art exhibit of collages made by our participants. This art show allows local students to exhibit their artwork in a professional venue and have it viewed by hundreds of people in our communities. Come out and help us celebrate our young artists!

Organized and curated by the family of Jean-Michel Basquiat, this exhibition of over 200 never-before-seen and rarely shown paintings...tell the story of Jean-Michel from an intimate perspective.

Leilah Babirye, Hugh Hayden, Dozie Kanu, Tau Lewis, and Kiyan Williams: Black Atlantic

Location: Brooklyn Bridge Park

Black Atlantic is an exhibition inspired by the diaspora across the ocean that connects Africa with the Americas and Europe.

In America: Lexicon of Fashion

Location: Met Museum, 5th Avenue, 82nd Street.
Part 1: Celebrates the last ~100 years of American fashion, 1920s flapper dresses, 1950s tubular garments, the 70s laid back styles, the 80s funk movements, and the early 90s denim and streetwear styles.
Part 2: Focuses on the gilded age of the late 19th century. Dates of about 1860-1899 when America was in the early stages of the industrial revolution. The exhibit features gowns worn by the Met Gala attendees and other garments not seen on the carpet.
